Most property owners are not aware of the value of their trees and shrubs until they attempt to replace them following a loss. Replacing even an average size tree can cost $20,000 or more. Dirr is a University of Georgia Professor of Horticulture and one of the nation’s prominent horticultural experts. He has licensed to HMI his extensive specimen data that HMI uses to provide our customers with detailed descriptions and care instructions for each plant assessed on their property. The Plant Guide represents the only horticultural reference source with customized care instructions for specific plants on a specific property.
